The slate of nominees for the 2007 Church
Council was elected as follows:
1 year term ending January 2008: Anne Chmielewski, Wayne Wright and Sheryl White
2 year term ending January 2009: John Carducci, Ken Dietel and Judy Peter
3 year term ending January 2010: Jim Ackert, Randy Ingibritsen and Dana Leeds

Administrative Council Summary of
Minutes March 13, 2007
The Administrative Council reviewed reports from the Treasurer,
Pastor Royer and various committees. The Evangelism Committee reported that the web team is
re-invigorating the website and welcomes feedback. The Finance Committee reports that a partial payout based on
percentage of bonds held will be made from the Bond Fund.
The Stewardship Committee reports that there will be a
Capital Appeal for the mortgage after Easter.
It was reported that the next SEPA Synod Assembly will be
May 4 and 5 at the Franconia Mennonite Church in Souderton.

Administrative
Council 1/9/07
The meeting was opened with prayer and focused bible readings.
The Treasurer’s report was discussed and accepted.
The Pastor’s report was reviewed as was the Mind Body
Spirit ministry report. The
formation of the church council after the period of synodical
administration was discussed. Under the terms of synodical administration the
Administrative Council will nominate candidates for the council. These candidates will be voted on by the congregation
at the next congregational meeting to be held on March 11,
2007.

Summary of Administrative Council Meeting Minutes - December 12,
2006
The council meeting was opened with prayer
and bible study. Council
then reviewed and discussed reports from Pastor Royer, the
Treasurer and various committees.
Council approved the proposed 2007 budget for submission to
the congregation at the next congregational meeting.
In new business, it was noted that the Administrative
Council’s term will be over in May 2007 and a Nominating
Committee will need to be set up to elect a new council at that
time.

Summary of Administrative Council Meeting Minutes -
November 14, 2006
Council
met and reviewed reports by the Treasurer, the Pastor and various
committees. The
progress made in the development of the Esperanza ministry in
“The Bridge” was noted. Council
approved a motion to have the next Annual Congregational Meeting
on Sunday January 21, 2007 at 11:30am.

Council Summary of Minutes October
10, 2006
Council reviewed and approved reports by Pastor Royer, Christian
Education, Worship and Music, Finance Committee and the Treasurer.
Council discussed the projected five year budget prepared
by the Finance Committee which was prepared for the Mission
Investment Fund

Summary of Minutes - Administrative Council Meeting - August 15,
2006
Council reviewed the
Treasurer’s and the Pastor’s reports as well as reports from
the Christian Ed, Finance and Worship and Music committees.
Council discussed with Pastor Royer how we are called to be
a Studying Church. Currently
we have the Sunday morning bible study group and an evening group
is to be added in the fall. Also
discussed was an Encouraging Church.
We are called to use our spiritual gifts from the Spirit to
contribute to the building of the Church.

Summary of Council Minutes
July 18, 2006
The Administrative Council reviewed the
reports of the Treasurer, the Pastor and various committees.
A new committee will be formed called the Mission committee
which will work with Ascension’s various outreach ministries and
possibly in conjunction with other local churches.
An announcement will be in the August newsletter.
The next council meeting will be August 15 at 7pm.

Summary of Administrative Council Minutes
Council met with Pastor Royer on Tuesday June 20,
2006. The meeting
opened with prayer and Bible study.
Financial statements were reviewed with the Treasurer as
well as the report of the Finance committee.
In summary, there is a positive trend in total income
received. Pastor Royer discussed his report with council as well as the
vision plan for mission at Ascension.
Council will be discussing the plan in detail over the next
few months. The next
council meeting will be on Tuesday July 18, 2006 at 7pm.

Summary
May 9, 2006
The administrative council met with Pastor
Royer. The
treasurer’s report and Pastor’s report were discussed.
In new business, the
purchase of a new lawn mower (due to costly repairs needed by the
old lawn mower) was reported.
The next council meeting will be Tuesday June 20, 2006 at
7pm.
