Greetings in Christ!
It may be hard to believe, but it’s true.
I feel a sense of excitement every time I pull into the
driveway at Ascension.
The sight of the church building sitting on the hill is
magnificent. It’s so
inviting. And even
before I pull into my parking space, I’m feeling good about
what’s going to happen while I’m here.
It might be an uplifting worship service.
Maybe it’s leading a midweek bible study.
Could be a fellowship

|
event,
a service ministry activity, or a youth outing.
It really doesn’t matter.
I get a good feeling every time I come to Ascension
Lutheran Church.
It’s a place and a faith community where my own faith is
nurtured and nourished.
If you are a member of ALC reading this, I hope you feel the
same way I do every time you arrive at Ascension.
If you’re not a member of ALC and just happen to be
visiting our website today, I invite you to visit us in person.
If you do, you might just come to feel the same way I do
about this church and congregation.
And it’s a very good feeling to have.
It makes me want to say each day, “Thanks be to God!”
