At Ascension Lutheran Church you have friends waiting to
greet you! This website is a reflection of our church. We are a
resource for faith, a support for your life, a welcome from
friends, a place of worship and a community of care between God
and people.
At
Ascension there is a welcome place for everyone!
The
people of Ascension are committed to guests, to each other, and to
our communities. We celebrate in worship, we learn and work
together to share God's love and care for the world and for
people. There are no strangers at Ascension. Folks of all ages and
stages in life are included in the community of Ascension Lutheran
Church.

We
are a unique congregation. As a congregation of the
Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod
of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, (ELCA),
we serve communities in Upper Makefield, New Hope, and
surrounding communities in Bucks
County, PA. We serve
the Delaware River communities of Washington Crossing PA. and
Washington Crossing, New Jersey. Our members live in various
Pennsylvania and New Jersey communities in both Bucks and Mercer
Counties.
We
are located on Route 532,
in Upper Makefield, Bucks County, Pennsylvania between Newtown and
Washington Crossing, PA..

people of Ascension enthusiastically share God's love with all…
Our
"Welcome Group" hosts guests to brunch and introduces
you to the ministries, programs and
groups of the congregation. It meets once each month. Click

Our
Members care for and about each other through prayer, visits,
support and ministry activities.

Neighborhood Groups are led by Neighborhood Hosts who welcome
& connect guests to the community, to church members and to
the ministries of the church.
Our
Ministry Activities include groups for all ages and varied
interests. We serve Families, Children, Youth, Young Adults,
Adults and Older Adults in care, learning, friendship, fun and
